Not to disregard the ‘moment’, but I prefer this as a great example of showing rather than telling in a story. Gray makes several observations about both species and the situations they found themselves. Being kept in a zoological station to prevent extinction—while Liz might have been sheltered, the thought of being ‘kept’, being considered a lesser species–also gives credence to how Liam acts, for good or bad, or whether we like him or not. Liz’ reaction leads to the though of when the societies that we exist in fall apart, so do the values and morals upheld by that society. There’s an interesting dichotomy between the reality we observe from, and the one we are observing, and it makes reading the comments afterward almost as interesting as reading the story itself–at least in my opinion. Very cool.

First time to comment, but I am certainly a fan of this comic and I’m expecting you to pull the old kiss interruption… or making us all wait a few days to focus on other parts of the current arc. In any case I shall join in on the flail eeeeeeeeeeee!
